Business Development, Vice President - 
Los Angeles, CA.

We are seeking a business development professional with financial advisory experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and Banking. The ideal candidate will have a transportable book of business in North America (U.S. and / or Canada) and experience in originating corporate finance assignments in a variety of industries. The Candidate will be teamwork oriented, motivated and long term focused.


Must be driven, have a proven track record of strategic thinking, credibility, high ethical standards and motivated to build and expand financial advisory practice (M&A, private placements and business valuation). Current

C-level relationships within a corporate development role. He / She has the ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial, teamwork oriented platform. 


Required Qualifications:​​

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related course of study.

  • Licensed Series 7 or Series 79, and Series 63.

  • At least 2 years of experience in finance/accounting and/or customer service roles.

  • Proven business developments, sales and organizational skills with strong verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand impact of verbal and non-verbal communication when meeting with perspective businesses.

  • Excellent judgment and diplomacy skills in order to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority required.

  • Exceptional executive-level presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.

  • Responsible for developing new strategic alliances with key customers.

  • Analyze and understand customer’s business strategy, future product plans and expansion activities.

  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully influence senior level management, executives and prospects in general.

  • Define business priorities through a broad and far vision including initiating and managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand and drive market penetration.

  • Communicate effectively with team members with all the company communication systems and CRM.
