Fort Lauderdale, FL.
We are seeking a business development professional with financial advisory experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and Banking. The ideal candidate will have a transportable book of business in North America (U.S. and / or Canada) and experience in originating corporate finance assignments in a variety of industries. The Candidate will be teamwork oriented, motivated and long term focused.
Must be driven, have a proven track record of strategic thinking, credibility, high ethical standards and motivated to build and expand financial advisory practice (M&A, private placements and business valuation). Current
C-level relationships within a corporate development role. He / She has the ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial, teamwork oriented platform.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related course of study.

Licensed Series 7 or Series 79, and Series 63.

At least 2 years of experience in finance/accounting and/or customer service roles.

Proven business developments, sales and organizational skills with strong verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to understand impact of verbal and non-verbal communication when meeting with perspective businesses.

Excellent judgment and diplomacy skills in order to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.

Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority required.

Exceptional executive-level presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:

Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.

Responsible for developing new strategic alliances with key customers.

Analyze and understand customer’s business strategy, future product plans and expansion activities.

Demonstrate the ability to successfully influence senior level management, executives and prospects in general.

Define business priorities through a broad and far vision including initiating and managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand and drive market penetration.

Communicate effectively with team members with all the company communication systems and CRM.
